PMI (Post Merger Integration)support for a major telecommunication service provider’s M&A
・ The client, a major telecommunication service provider, executed a large M&A in order to expand its business and reinforce its foundation.
(The M&A targeted integration of 20 group companies (to be district offices) and more than 50 systems.
・ As the PMO for integration of operation/IT systems, Rise Consulting Group supported the client for developing integration plans to completion of system integration.
・ Finished the 2-year project 4 months ahead of initial schedule within the budget.
・ No serious failure that would otherwise cause customer’s inconvenience occurred after integration of operation/IT systems.
While the core area for support was operation/IT system integration, keeping a close communication with interested departments and divisions/district offices/IT system vendors, and exerting forces to develop/implement plans for the whole integration led to the project’s success.
